The Heart of Dixie ARS is a small focused club. We were founded in 2007. Our members enjoy RTTY, CW, SSB contesting, chasing DX, WSPR, antennas, and technology.

We are generally centered in Lee County Alabama, but we welcome members from anywhere and have members from several states.

Our meeting schedule is flexible.  Currently we meet by Zoom each Thursday morning at 6:30 A.M. Central Time.  We convene in person meetings when they are needed.

All hams of good will, who have an interest in learning are welcome to join us. The HODARS is an informal club. We have no applications to fill out or voting on membership. We don’t keep minutes and only discuss business when the need arises. We like to keep things simple and fun.
